# Using Hedgey app with Fireblocks

Below please find a video overview along with a step-by-step instructions on how to use Hedgey [App](https://app.hedgey.finance/) with Fireblocks.

**Step 1:** open 2 tabs side by side. Use the first tab to log into your Fireblock account, and the second tab to access Hedgey [App](https://app.hedgey.finance/).&#x20;

**Step 2**: on the Hedgey [App](https://app.hedgey.finance/) connect your wallet.

**Step 3:** Choose WalletConnect as your connection type.&#x20;

**Step 4:** Choose the EVM Network that you have received an investor lockup or vesting plan on.&#x20;

**Step 5:** You can either connect to Fireblocks with their dedicated Desktop Wallet Connect app, or connect using your mobile device. The manner of your connection will depend on how you connect to Fireblocks as well. For Desktop, there is a section at the bottom right you can click and type 'Fireblocks' into the search bar to find their dedicated app - which will bring you directly to your vault or Fireblocks login page. For Mobile, simply scan the QR code with your mobile device. That should initiate connection with Fireblocks.&#x20;

**Step 6:** Now that you have connected, you should see your fireblocks account listed in the top left of the Hedgey App, and you can navigate through the Hedgey app and initiate transactions directly from the Hedgey App for things like claiming or delegating tokens. This will trigger a transaction via wallet connect for you to sign and confirm in your Fireblocks account either via Mobile or on the Desktop Fireblocks site.&#x20;
