# Creating a test claim to verify wallet addresses

**Ensure Wallet Address Accuracy**

Before creating investor and/or vesting lockup transactions, we recommend to verify the accuracy of the recipients wallet addresses (wallets should be self-custodial and active). As the issuer you want to make sure that the recipients have access and control of their wallets (as opposed to wallets from centralized exchanges).

*Use the Hedgey token claim product for a quick wallet address verification.*

Create a "test" claim page using our token [claims product](https://app.hedgey.finance/token-claims). This test claims page should include all wallet addresses of the intended recipients. To do that you can use a fraction of the distributed token or a test token. The test claim page can be created on a test network such as Sepolia or Goerli. Using the test token claim first will ensure that all your recipients have correct wallet addresses thus ensuring smooth distribution.
