🎉For Claims Recipients (unlocked & locked claims)

Token Claims is a product by Hedgey that teams use to distribute tokens to their community and investors. When a team creates a token claim, they generate a custom token claim page where recipients can connect their wallet and claim their token allocation. Depending on the type of token claim, recipients may claim unlocked tokens or tokens that unlock over time.

• For unlocked token claims, recipients will receive all of their tokens immediately when claiming.

• For locked token claims, recipients will claim a locked token allocation which unlocks over time based on how the unlock is structured.

  • When you claim a locked token allocation, an ERC721 is minted to your wallet. This ERC721 acts as your access key to claim tokens as they unlock overtime.

  • The lockup may include cliffs, be future dated (cliffs that start from zero), and have monthly or linear unlock schedules.

Claiming unlocked and locked tokens Step 1 - Connecting your wallet

The creator of your token claim will have shared a unique link with you to claim your tokens. This link will begin with app.hedgey.finance. To get started open up the link to view the token claim page. Hedgey supports multiple wallets to claim tokens.

• MetaMask, Rabby

• Leger

• Safe

• Wallet Connect

Metamask and Rabby will both appear when you click connect wallet. If you are using Ledger, read this document on how to connect Ledger to your Metamask and then interact with the claim via Metamask. If you are using Safe, watch this loom video for adding your token claim as a custom Safe app on Gnosis Safe Step 2 - Claiming locked or unlocked tokens

Once you have connected your wallet, the next step will be to check your eligibility for the token claim. You can check your eligibility by clicking the Check eligibility button. (see image below)

Once your eligibility is confirmed, you can claim the unlocked or locked tokens Claim. (see below) You will be prompted to complete the transaction in your wallet.

Once the transaction is confirmed, your claimed tokens will either go to your wallet (for unlocked token claims) or your locked token allocation will appear in your Token Claim portfolio, where you will be able to track and claim your tokens as they unlock over time.

Above is an example of a token claim page. Here, you will claim both unlocked tokens and vesting/streaming token allocations.

If your token claim was unlocked, you are now finished using Hedgey token claims.

Step 3 - (for recipients who have claimed locked tokens) If your token claim is locked, you can now view your locked token allocation and details in the Hedgey app on the token claims page.

You will have to connect your wallet to the main app to view your allocation. You can connect the same way you have on Metamask or Ledger, or click the green View on Safe button to use the token claim app in Safe.

This is the first page you see when you connect your wallet to the token claims page.

• You can always find your locked token claim by connecting your wallet at https://app.hedgey.finance/token-claims
• Your tokens do not automatically enter your wallet as they unlock. You will claim unlocked tokens at your discretion (see the Image below.)

• The Claim button for token claims is located at the bottom right of your page.
